Laser Industry Applications
1. Laser machine
1.1 Introduction
Laser machine is a general term for laser engraving machines, laser cutting machines, and laser marking machines. The laser machine utilizes its high-temperature working principle to act on the surface of the processed material, while drawing the customer's required patterns, text, etc. based on the input graphics into the machine. Laser machines can be divided into laser cutting machines and laser engraving machines according to their purpose.
① Laser cutting machines are further divided into metal cutting machines and non-metal cutting machines.
② Laser engraving machines are further divided into metal engraving machines and non-metal engraving machines.
The names of different machines used in the industry have also changed, such as: Paper Cuttings machine, shadow puppet machine, knife template machine, etc.
1.2 Laser Principles
Laser is a type of light that, like other electroluminescent devices in nature, is generated by atomic (molecular or ion) transitions and is caused by spontaneous radiation. Although laser is light, it differs from ordinary light display in that it only relies on spontaneous radiation for a very short period of time, and the subsequent process is completely determined by laser radiation. Therefore, laser has a very pure color and almost no divergent directionality.
